Princess Abeer S. Al-Saud

We are proud to announce the appointment of Princess Abeer S. Al-Saud , Founder of The Sustainable Development Association (Talga), to The Diwan’s Board of Advisors.
Princess Abeer brings exceptional global experience in sustainability, peacebuilding, and cultural leadership. She has worked with leading multilateral organizations including the GCC, EU, UN agencies, World Bank, and JICA. In 2019, she led the first Peacebuilding Unit in the MENA region, training over 80 professionals from 16 Saudi ministries and advancing UN Resolutions 1325 on WPS and also UN Resolution 2250 YPS a promoting inclusion of 60% youth and 40% women in peacebuilding who particpated in all the training and capacity building workshops she led as a GCC secondé spearheading the Peacebuilding Unit.
Princess Abeer is also the founder of Dinar Group, a multidisciplinary responsible for profit impact studio bridging sustainability and culture. She is the co-partner of Timenschen Institute, the subsidiary arm of Dinar Group - which works on promoting peacebuilding in extreme environments (outer space, polar regions & underwater) in the MENA region
As an artist and explorer, she is the first Saudi woman to reach the southernmost point of Antarctica in scientific xoedition. She is also the first Fellow at the Explorers Club from the MENA region, EC50 2050 list of 50 explorers, fellow at the Royal Geographical Society, a member of the Oxford Exploration Club Oxford University Exploration Club OUEC and advisory board at the Scientific Exploration Society.
She holds a Master Degree in Development Studies from SOAS University of London and Bachelor Degree from Alfaisal University with a focus on Neuroaesthetics.
Her appointment marks a distinguished addition to our Board as we continue building bridges between policy, culture, and sustainable development across the region.
