Waleed Aldayel
Chief Strategy & Digital Officer at the Royal Commission for AlUla
We are proud to welcome Waleed Aldayel, Chief Strategy & Digital Officer at the Royal Commission for AlUla, to The Diwan’s Board of Advisors.
Mr. AlDayel served as the PMO director at the Ministry of Economy and Planning, Saudi Arabia, overseeing a wide range of government portfolios. He then moved on to become the Chief of Strategy and Digital at the Royal Commission for AlUla, overseeing the setup of the organization strategy during three startup phase and leading widespread organizational build up of teams and practices.
Waleed has led, delivered, and supported change initiatives and overseen scalable programs in the areas of heritage site improvement and visitors’ experience, including Hegra (UNESCO World Heritage), Conservation for nature and wildlife, including protected areas, flagships’ events within Heritage, Art & Culture. Moreover, Waleed became the Managing Director of the Arabian Leopard Fund (ALF).
Waleed holds a master’s in business administration (MBA), University of Newcastle and a Harvard (Advance Management Program) alumnus with broad organization strategy and implementation with 23 years of experience across the government and semi-government sectors.
